A classic grill plate with a 200 mm hole in the center for a wok or an additional grill grate. The additional grill grate, with a name of your choice, is included in this set. The grate simply sits over the opening and is also made of 8 mm steel.

This grill plate, also called a "plancha," is ideal for all kinds of grilled dishes. It's especially good for grilling shrimp or vegetables, as they don't fall into the fire like they would on a grill. Even pasta can be prepared on it.

The grill plate must be seasoned before use. To do this, you need to heat it thoroughly and rub or spray it with cooking oil. The seasoning process creates a patina that protects the material from corrosion. Depending on the heat, the plate may warp upwards or downwards, which is completely normal during this process and is not a reason for complaint. Since this is the classic version, it can be used on both sides. Due to the 8 mm steel thickness and the resulting high quality of the grill plate, warping is limited.
